Professional Playing Experience
Involved in Pro-Youth Football from age 10-18. Finished at St Johnstone when Covid began, whole U18 squad was released for costs savings. Secured scholarship in USA and have been in Louisiana, Arkansas and now Missouri, later moving from NAIA to NCAA. Currently play in GLVC Conference the most competitive in USA, where minimum 4 University Teams from this conference go to last 8 of Nationals consistently.
When securing scholarships the work ethic my parents wanted me to learn is prominent in the Universities attended as a lot of Coaches do not like International Students working and like them to concentrate solely on Soccer and Study. However, I have been supported by my parents over 4+ years and felt I had to give them something back. As referenced, this does have restrictions and offers from Universities with successful soccer teams have had to be passed up, so I can take on board my parents wishes to work, study and play. In this time, I have used this work ethic to start my own Coaching School (Bissset’s Ballers, can be found on Instagram). I have a core 10-14 kids that I have now coached for the last 2 years.
I will graduate in December, gaining a degree in Exercise Science and then I am looking for the next part of my journey to get back into Professional Football and then further Coaching. Some of the Colleges that made offers, however the costs were too expensive for my parents, this year 2024 made the last 8 of both NCAA & NAIA National Championships, Charleston, McKendree, William Penn, William Carey.
Secured one of fourteen places at one of the Scottish Football Associations (SFA) seven Performance Schools across Scotland at age 11 from group of the best young players within Tayside, Perth & Fife Regions, graduating from 4 year Program in 2017/18
