It will take place every four years from 2028 and will look to include 16 teams "to showcase the best clubs from around the world" said Fifa president Gianni Infantino.
The 16 teams will include clubs from Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, North America and Oceania.
"The Fifa Women's Club World Cup will be a defining moment in the growth of women's club football" - Gianni Infantino
It has been said that thirteen clubs including five from Europe will have priority to secure their place in the competition, whilst the other three places will be up for grabs. Knockout matches will be played to determine which three clubs get through to play in the Women's Club World Cup.
Like many competitions, the first round will be the group stages, then it will go on to the quarter finals, then the semi finals and then of course the final.
Fifa are still to decide the dates for the competition as well as the host.
The aim of this competition is to help grow the women's game and create more competitive matches across the world.
